The Pay it Forward program on Cortes is brought to you by the Support Our Seniors Society.
Our Pay it Forward account is now empty so we are asking for your support!
A weekly hot meal for low income seniors is our goal and you can help.
So far in 2026 we have received many generous donations to support our Better at Home Program and we delivered 132 meals with those donations. Our clients are eligible for 3 warm meals per month at the moment through the Better at Home program and we are raising funds to be able to offer the 4th meal every month to seniors on a low income.
Please consider making a donation to this valuable service. 100% of the funds go directly to food and those in need as we welcome any amount as it all ads up! An average hot meal is $16 and it makes a huge difference in peoples lives. We deliver to 35 – 40 low income seniors every month.

Thank you so much for offering the Meals on Wheels program. Wednesday is my favourite day of the week as I know I will have a delicious and nutricious hot meal for dinner. I don’t like cooking for myself and it tires me out so I usually just eat a sandwich or crackers.
